How The Counting Works

• Words: Standard language tokens - including contractions (don’t) and hyphenated terms (for example self-made) count as 1 word.
• URLs: Cleaned and counted as a single token.
• Numbers: Digits like “2025” and short codes like “JS” count as words.
• Cleanup: The tool intelligently strips out all HTML tags, newline artifacts, hidden Unicode control characters, and formatting residues to ensure the analysis focuses purely on your meaningful text.
